And Vishnu (the preserver) said to Kardama, “You are Kaala, the Wheel of Time. The swiftness of your wheel is inexorable; All creation is yoked to it and turns helplessly with it. Men’s lives are shorter than they imagine, and they waste those lives pursuing every desire that stirs in their hearts. Death finds them before they worship you properly, and their short days have been wasted.”
